I think cabin fever is starting to set in and we're starting to get creative with dinner and lunch. No bread, and less than 1/2 gallon of milk (which is scary in our house), which is more than the grocery stores have had. Hopefully we'll get more soon.

Bird Treats

Norah and Rhiannon came over to play during our snow days. Mom had a project for us, once we'd played for a while. We made treats for the birds out of pre-made pie crust and bird seed.


Then we hung them out on the trees.

It was really cold, so we only stayed outside long enough to hang the treats. Hopefully the birds will enjoy them.

Sledding at MiMi's

The day after Christmas, Mom and Dad picked me up from Aunt Mert's and we headed back to MiMi's. As we got closer to town, the snow picked up, but we had one stop before we went to MiMi's...to get a sled. We drove slowly to MiMi's, the roads were starting to get snowy. After supper, Mom, Dad, and I went sledding. The moonlight lit up the snow and we had the best time. The next morning after breakfast, we were back before we had to pack up and go home.

MiMi's Barn

The area where MiMi lives has been putting quit paintings on barns and she has a quilt on her barn too.

MiMi showed them one of her quilts, and here it is on the barn, although her quilt's colors are a little different.

Someone woke up at 5:30 and I acidentily told her it had snowed. Not much sleep after that.

Christmas Lights

We like to go looking at Christmas lights. We've already been to the Lights of Life this year. We were supposed to go to a Christmas Party Thursday, but it got cancelled. So we went to look at the lights in the neighborhood close to our house. I got the camera and got to take pictures of whatever I wanted. Here are a few of the better ones.

Playdates

I had two different playdates last week. One with Haley and the next day with Mitchell and Hollis.

Hollis, Mitchell and I made donut snowmen! We liked to use the gel icing. I think this is the funniest picture.

Here's mine, I gave mine to Ms. Rachel to give to Justin, James and Davis.

We are stilling still at the table here, don't worry that didn't last too long.

I had planned on Haley to come over after school. We were having Songfest and mom was taking the day off from school and Haley was going to come home with us. BUT, we had a snow (really an ice) day so no school. Luckily, the ice melted quickly and Haley was still able to come over. We had a great time, playing, dressing up, and making peanut butter and honey sandwiches, my new favorite.
