State Fair

Mom and I went to the State Fair with our neighbor Elizabeth on Saturday. It's just a couple miles away, which is nice, since there's a gas shortage here. First we went to the petting farm, then we rode rides. Mom was a little hesitant at first, but I loved all but one. I rode some kiddie rides, and the farris wheel, and a tug boat with mom and Elizabeth (that one I did not like and asked when it would be over).

Before the scary ride started

I was having a great time. But we had to go home when the ride tickets ran out. What a bummer. What's next, a nap and then over to Chad's house for pizza.

Chef Sadie

Today after school, I met my buddies at the Young Chefs Academy. We learned how to make Cinnamon Rolls. I thought the dough was delious before we added the butter (surprise I did not lick it off the brush), and the brown and white sugar and cinnamon mixture, which was even better. I rolled up the dough and cut it with dental floss. It was soo YUMMY warm out of the oven. I would let mom help me cut the dough but I didn't want to share the cinnamon rolls. Thats ok because mom didn't even have to clean up.

Whose nose and toes?

This is from a book that Sadie's class made. Each child has a picture of their nose and toes and their picture. Sadie got to bring it home to "read" to us. She can name all the kids in her class.
It was Sadie's turn to bring snack to school on Friday. It's a BIG DEAL, because she also got to ring the bell when it was time to clean up. She was so excited when I picked her up from school to tell me all about it.

ELMO LIVE

I went to see Sesame Streete Live "When Elmo Grows Up". Mom and I went with Ms. Laura and Regan. We started off rocky, with Mom forgetting the tickets at home and then again in the car once we got there. But once inside and the lights dimmed, and the characters came on stage, and you could tell how thrilled and excited by the huge smile on my face.

First Baby Shower

I was excited today. I told my teacher at school that I was going to a party for Ms. Rachel and she's going to have 2 babies. Ms. Rachel is Michell and Justin's mom. I am so excited for them.

I love my Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. They have gone for car rides, and I made sure mom buckled them up too and I have shown them to everyone on our street who has ventured outside their door.

Playgroup Comes Over

I'm in a Wednesday afternoon playgroup this time. Most of my buddies are in the same playgroup, but I've got new friends too. Mom decided to have everyone over to my house to play. Eight kids + 6 moms in our house = we had a great time. Every toy was played with and everyone got along, I was good at sharing my toys.

Bring a Friend to Dance Class

It was Bring a Friend to Dance Class, so of course, I asked Emma! Ms. Christine said we were really good, and could tell that we were good friends.

Afterwards we went for ice cream!

I Met Ernie!!

Mom, Dad and I went to Cookeville for the weekend. Saturday we got up and went to the Fall Fun Fest!! 1st thing, I met Ernie, I was totally excited, but a little imitated that he was big. He gave me a rubber ducky, which I have carried around and even wanted to take to school.



Later I got to meet SUPER WHY, one of the TV shows I really like. Wonder Red was really cool, along with Super Why, and Alpha Pig, Princess Presto was missing, she must have been at a spelling Bee.

Playdate with Emma

I went over to Emma's to play last week. Mom went to get her hair cut and I got to play. Emma has lots of new stuff. A cool swing set, trampoline, AND a kitten and a dog. It was lots and lots of fun.

Art in the Park

Mom and Dad took me to the Art in the Park. It was lots of fun. I made a puppet, painted a ceramic train to hang on the wall, painted a building to add to the "city scape" in the childrens area.

I painted a box and labeled my building "Sadie's Ice Cream Shop"


I met the "Pink Thing" also known as the Pink Panther. He was cool!

I really liked the "pink Thing", He gave my 5 and a big hug.

First Full Day of School

I was ready for the first full day of school. I had to pick out my outfit myselves. I can't wait to go back next week. I showed daddy my classroom after church on Sunday, I have a hook for my bookbag with my name and picture on it.
