Dinner at the Pool

We invited Emma and Claire, and Bennett and Alexander and their moms to eat sandwiches with us at the pool. Surprisingly, it was crowded, the pool ever is, but we had a great time. By dinner time we had the pool to ourselves and then a quick dip before everyone headed home for a good nights sleep.

As you can see I'm swimming all over the pool.

Day 3 - Spa Day

I wore my bathrobe and sundress and flip flops for spa day. I really didn't want the bath robe, but I wore it until mom dropped me off.

and fingernails blue, my favorite part.

Mom can't believe I was still enough for them to get polished at all.

Last night before supper was cheer practice, part song part cheer with a little dancing mixed in.

Guess What?

Yep, I'm not afraid to jump off the diving board. I had lots of fun at Gabriella's grandma's today. We just kept jumping off the diving board. At first I had to jump to mom (actually mom was just close to where I jumped since she couldn't touch) then by the end of the day we were playing Peter Pan and walking the plank (all by ourselves). I've really improved swimming over the past few days/week.

Note: there were adults in the pool while mom was taking the photos, just on the other side of the ladder and Gabriella was waiting patiently behind the diving board, just out of camera view.

Girly Girls

Camp this week is all about being girls, and no boys allowed!

Day 1: Pajama day, I got to wear my pajama's to camp. We colored a stuffed bear I got to bring home.

Can you tell I'm excited.

Even more to a fun day: Emma, Claire and Ms Sara come over for dinner and we ate pizza by the pool!



Day 2: Cheerleading Day. What's even better than Girly Girl camp...Haley is in it with me!!! So is my friend Peyton from dance class. We made megaphones (mom doesn't think that was necessary) and decorated a cheer bag, and learned a cheer that I can't remember but I think had something about "Dawgs" in it.

VBS-round 2

Last week I went to vacation bible school at the Presbyterian church close to our house. Mom asked when we signed up if I could be in the class with Emily, and so they let me in the 5's class. I wasn't the tallest in the class this time. I had lots of fun and we did different jungle animals everyday, griaffe, monkey, elephant, meer cat, and zebra. The last day the parents were invited to come early and listen to us sing a few songs.

On the right front

Two nights after dinner Ms Bos and Emily invited us to their church for Family Bible school. It was fun. They had a band with lots of singing and dancing. They put on skits, and had fun things for us to do in family groups.

During family group, you had to wrap one member up in toilet paper, Sadie was a good sport, then afterwards Ms Bos made them toilet paper scarves to wrap around their heads. Mom thought they looked like Princess Grace. I got a frisbee, beach ball and hopefully some good lessons about family and church.

What else did we do? Dinner with Emma Claire and Ms Sara at the pool.
Mr. Ean, Ms Jenny and Sydney came down over the weekend for a quick visit. We just played at our house, then had a late evening swim before bed. I think that about covers everything.

Vacation Bible School and More Fun

What a week I've had. Vacation Bible school in the mornings, which I really enjoyed. I saw lots of friends from my school there, it was at the Methodist church near the square.

One day after VBS Emily came over to play and we put on a dance show.

Then the next day, swimming with our friends and then pizza picnic in the park.

I had the most fun this week, I got to go to the water park with Emily and Nick. Wow, we played in the sprinkler area, went to the wave pool, and even rode down a slide together. The slide was fun, a little bit of a wait, but super excited to get on. We all rode in a round float that spun around as wen went down. Mom watched my eyes, they were super big going down while I was laughing with everyone. Once out of the ride, I asked to ride again. Mom asked if I was scared, I said I was, but it was super fun and I wanted to do it again. At dinner, I suggested we all go together.

then more playdates at the pool...yes, my hair is starting to get a green tint, but we're trying to find another, better shampoo. I'm great at doggie paddling, I'm not wanting to swim too much under water.

Weekend

What does every ballerina like to do the day after her recital? Go hammer! So off to home depot with my cousins, aunt, and mom to build a soccer game.

the finished project. Then off to Tennessee. Max rode in the car with me and brought along his "tom and Jerry" dvd. It was the funniest cartoon ever. I didn't stop laughing for 3 hours. We watched it alot.

We also saw Aunt Jo and Uncle Tommy, Bailey, Zack and the newest addition.. Georgie Girl. She was very shy. and we gave Aunt Jo her Birthday gift. Sorry mom forgot to bring in her camera.

It was a full weekend.

Dance Recital

My dance recital was so much fun.

I got flowers after the show. Mom picked me up backstage after my performance and I got to sit with Max and Maddie, mom, dad and aunt mert to watch the other dancers. I really enjoyed them and clapped super hard at the end of each dance.

I did have a little accident before the performance. I fell down twice while I was getting my picture made before I had to go backstage. The second time was a doozy. I got my tights dirty and ripped a hole in them on the knee. I didn't have an extra pair. So, mom wisked me off the the bathroom where she wiped the dirt off and put the tights on me backwards, so the hole was in the back. Mom did find another mom with an extra pair of tights, but I was fine with the hole in the back and was ready to go backstage. So off I went. Here's a picture of the tights after the show was over. It's still pretty light outside for 8:45 at night. No wonder I have a hard time going to bed at night. So we went home and played dancers for a while before bedtime.
