Christmas Lights

We like to go looking at Christmas lights. We've already been to the Lights of Life this year. We were supposed to go to a Christmas Party Thursday, but it got cancelled. So we went to look at the lights in the neighborhood close to our house. I got the camera and got to take pictures of whatever I wanted. Here are a few of the better ones.

Playdates

I had two different playdates last week. One with Haley and the next day with Mitchell and Hollis.

Hollis, Mitchell and I made donut snowmen! We liked to use the gel icing. I think this is the funniest picture.

Here's mine, I gave mine to Ms. Rachel to give to Justin, James and Davis.

We are stilling still at the table here, don't worry that didn't last too long.

I had planned on Haley to come over after school. We were having Songfest and mom was taking the day off from school and Haley was going to come home with us. BUT, we had a snow (really an ice) day so no school. Luckily, the ice melted quickly and Haley was still able to come over. We had a great time, playing, dressing up, and making peanut butter and honey sandwiches, my new favorite.

Bethleham Walk

Sadie went home from school sick one day last week. But luckily she was better in time to go on the school field trip. Her class went on the "Bethleham Walk" We can't find her favorite lovebug hat, so she's wearing her Santa Hat in this cold weather.

What to do when you go to the biggest house in the US-- See Santa first. He was very sweet and I told him I wanted a bean bag chair for Christmas. He asked what color and I told him he could pick. Santa thought he'd get Ms. Claus to pick out the color, she's good at that sorta thing.

Checking out the animals at the barn, there were goats, sheep, 2 huge horses, chickens, a calf and a rabbit.

Then a quick snack before touring the big house. I picked out the biggest brownie ever.

The trees in front of the big house. We liked seeing all the Christmas trees in the rooms, and counting fireplaces. One tree was 32 feet tall. I was afraid at first of the tall stairs, but I made it up to the top floor and down to the basement with the bowling alley and pool, which I did not like. No photos allowed inside though

Lighting of the Christmas Tree

We went to the square for the lighting of the Christmas tree.
I saw lots of my friends there too.

The count down to the lighting of the tree, and then only the bottom half lit up. A few moments later the rest of the lights came on.

It's very pretty with all the lights.

Then home for super and bedtime.

Mark on the Wall

Every year we mark the wall/doorway on my birthday.


there are five marks on the wall now.
I'm 46 inches tall and 46 pounds.
(96% for height and 83% for weight)

Christmas Tree

We went to get our Christmas tree. Every year we go to the Christmas tree farm down the road, yes just about 5 minutes away.


I couldn't believe I was bigger than a Christmas tree, but this one is too small for us to take home.

Mom and I picked different types for our Christmas tree, and Dad couldn't/wouldn't make the deciding call, and since it was my REAL birthday, we got the one I wanted!

EXCITED and SUPER SILLY

We got it in the house and up, and when I woke up the next morning the lights were on the tree, and so was Doh-Doh (my elf)... I think Doh-Doh put the lights on the tree for me. So mom and I decorated the tree and when Dad got home he lifted me up and I got to put the angel on top.

Now it needs some presents underneath!

Aquarium with Dad

Dad and I went to the aquarium over Thanksgiving break while mom was at work.

I really liked the bulga whales, and we got to see the penguins!

We had a great time.

Thanksgiving at Jennifer's

We went to my mom's cousin's new house for Thanksgiving Dinner on Friday. I was excited to play with Kenzie and my cousins.

I brought along my dogs and a few bears I found at PawPaws.

Thanksgiving at Aunt Jo's

Thanksgiving morning we took off for Aunt Jo's. MiMi was already there and soon Uncle Tommy's family came and then Uncle David with Patty. I got to open my birthday presents before Thanksgiving dinner.

MY LUAU BIRTHDAY PARTY

I couldn't decide what to do this year for my birthday party. But when mom mentioned a Luau, my mind was made up. So I had my party at Pigtails and Crewcuts. It was an indoor Who-awiian luau.


We got our hair done in braids. Funny how it doesn't hurt if mom's not doing it. Our fingernails painted and some eyeshadow.
