Happy Birthday Hollis

Hollis turned 4, what an exciting birthday. It was a beautiful day at the park. We played on the swings and playground and did a couple games of red light/green light. It was a race car themed birthday, and it was lots of fun. I got a race car in my goodie bag and have played with it everyday since the party.


Ms Stacy made the race track cake, it was yummy.

The girls at night on the beach. We built a fire and sat around it while the girls had fun running around on the beach and putting their feet in the water.


the gang (note-Ean is on the highest part of the slope I'm on the downward most, he didn't want everyone to think he was that tall. however, Sadie did tell him he needed to stop eating, he was growing too big. Now she also thinks her daddy will be that big when he's 41.

Kayaking out in the bay, it was actually quite shallow, the girls could stand up there.

Sydney at the wheel, see the thunderstorm building in the background. Sadie does not like storms and heard us mention it while we were snorkling around in the bay and Brian and Ean collected scallops (for dinner) and other cool stuff to show the girls. As she was floating around, she closed her eyes and prayed to God and Jesus to make the storms go away. As the day went on, there was less blue in the sky, so we decided to head closer to the marina, Sadie whimpered herself to sleep. When we reached the marina it was raining. As she woke up, she was asking for ice cream, of course, so on the way home, we stop for ice cream to bring back to the condo. on our way back, the rain stopped, Sadie stated the God and Jesus had listened to her, she was so happy.

Gymnastics

Sadie also started gymnastics on the first day of school. She loved it. We had a bit of a mix up with the class, we'd missed the first class since we were on vacation, but Mommy of course asked where she should take Sadie once we got into the gym, the lady behind the desk didn't hear the part about the 3's class, and a class had just started so into the gym to join the class in progress Sadie goes with the lady. I had written down the class didn't start until 3:45, but I've been know to make "a" mistake before ; ), Then I noticed more kids waiting for a class and asked a mom, she was waiting for the 3:45 3year old class, so Sadie was in the gym with the wrong class. Oops. Oh well, she met her teacher early when he went in to get her for the right class.

Sadie on the big bars. Some of the moms asked me if she had taken lessons before since she was on the higher bar, but it was because she's taller than everyone else in her class, and could reach the lower bar too easily.

Doing her pull-ups. She also did somersaults forwards and backwards (with help), and jump into the foam pit at the end of class.

First Day of School

School Started!! How excited Sadie is. Sadie and Mommy had to go to school together the first day to meet the teachers and orientation. Sadie was so excited she was doing dances and couldn't wait to go (school started later for orientation). So we went early and hugged some old teachers and then met her new teachers and classmates.

Tea Party

I went to a fancy tea room for lunch with my pals Emma and Claire. Our moms thought it would be fun and wanted to do something special before school started.
