School Spring Festival

My school has a festival every spring, and the kids get to sing for the parents. I was so excited that mom and dad got to come. All the kids were up on stage singing with Miss Elizabeth. I really enjoyed it.

Our teachers displayed some of our art work for everyone to see. Mine is in the upper left corner, the blue water, heart caterpillar, and the penguin.

Mom and I had a picnic at the square and listened to music, I met a new friend named Charlotte, funny that I have a hard time remembering that name.

Swim Class

I started swim class this week. It's twice a week for 3 weeks. I'm just in the introduction to water class-the tadpoles. But I am ready to swim, couldn't wait to get in the water. I had my hand up to do everything our teacher wanted to do. I even tried putting my face in and seeing if I could swim -without the teacher or anyone there. Yes, I like to test mom to make sure she's watching, luckily Hollis' mom was, and just before mom jumped in jeans, I stood up! mom grabbed me out of the pool, I walked over dried off my face and got back in the pool. No coughing or anything, and I enjoyed the rest of swim class.

Before swim class with Hollis. Hollis and I have been talking about swim class for a while now, who's going to swim the best, and fastest... it's quite funny to already be competitive with my friends.

My new pink stool

Uncle David made me a stool and gave it to me at Easter. I got to decide and pick what color to paint it. I picked a princess pink. Then mom put me to work painting it. The stool looks great and I have it in my bathroom (after a few days of carrying it to every room in the house), where it gets much use.

What is to come

We got one of costumes for our dance recital. I am very excited about it (although you can't really tell in this picture). Mom has it hidden for now, but I'll be super excited to wear it for rehearsals and the recital.

Please keep in your prayers my friend Norah and Rhiannon's dad. Norah and Rhiannon live in my neighborhood and Norah is in my dance class. Her dad is recovering from a car wreck and has a hurt head. Norah and Rhiannon were in it too, but they are ok. Norah came over to play after dance class this week and is concerned about her dad. He's walking and talking now, but doesn't remember everyone and has some trouble with balance now and then. Mom was too slow with the camera to get a picture of us trying on our costumes together.
