SNOW

We have snow, it started around 1pm today... and we are having fun.

Our snowman.. actually our second, mom accidently knocked down the first one trying to put the carrot nose on...now the carrot is on the head..with pine cone eyes, and a fish gummy as the nose, see Sadie does have a use for candy.

It was lots of fun at dance class with the parents there to watch. I had lots to say, I was not shy at all. My friends and I had a great time. Mom had a great time and was very proud, smiled and laughed a lot.

What else have I been doing?

Well, no pictures but I did go see the new princess movie "The Princess and the Frog" loved the music, but it was too long for me and I wanted to leave before it was over, but mom made me watch it all.

Built wooden Christmas ornaments at lowe's using a hammer...can't wait to go again.

Dinner at Emily and Nick's house..

We picked Emma up from school and she came over to play while her mom and dad went to a meeting. We played, had a birthday party for my animals and made pet treats for our pet friends for Christmas.

Santa and Carriage Ride

Last year and this year I rode the carriage ride with Mitchell and Hollis. This year we sang "Jingle Bells" but had to modify the words to match " dashing thru the parking lot in a 2 horse open sleigh"...


The horses were Frank and Jessie James, however the drive told us to sing a 1 1/2 horse open sleigh because Frank was being lazy.

Sneak shot from behind... looking for the tree or a pottie?

We got our Christmas tree at the Christmas Tree Farm about 5 minutes from our house. We go there every year. I thought we went early this year, which was good, because they were almost out. The grandfather did feel well a few years ago, and did plant very many for this year, but not to worry, they planted 600 or so the following year, once the grandkids found out. So off to pick from what was left...of course, luckily they had a port-a-pottie that Daddy spotted, because even though we were only 5 minutes from the house, nature called. So after that, we found our tree, but of course Mommy's old camera (that uses film) battery was dead, so back to the truck to get the other camera, and then Sadie didn't want to have her picture made. Anyway, with the beautiful tree cut down, we pay and head home. It takes a little while to get the tree in the stand, and watered before we can put on the lights, which wasn't fast enough for Sadie, and then she couldn't wait to put the Angel on the top of the tree, once mommy had finished with the other tree decorations, she could at last put the angel on. Daddy was called in to pick Sadie up to reach the top of the tree, mommy ready with her camera...Angel going on then tree starts to fall down! Luckily we grabbed it in time. After repeatedly trying to get the tree to stand up again, a couple of ornaments didn't survive...a few not nice words, a crying kid, timer on the stove going off and food on the grill ready, somehow the tree moved by itself with a thump...a Christmas miracle of sorts..and was standing again. At last the Angel went on, and dinner was served.

Other Stuff

Sadie and I also went to church for the Advent festival Wednesday night, she made an angel with a pot head, a manger of love. for every good deed or extra prayer you get to put a piece of hay in the manger, so on Christmas, when you put the baby Jesus in the manger he'll have a soft place to rest on. She's been filling up the manger with prayers, and even said one on the way home so she could start putting hay in it. She also decorated 2 cookies, one she got to keep the other was given to Children in the 330 club, she did it, but wasn't sure about it.

Sadie and I also went to a party Saturday night where you take a teddy bear and to give to the local rescue people to give to children in accidents, our friends Norah and Rhiannon got a stuffed animal when the rescue them and their dad from a car accident earlier this year.
Next when I get a chance we'll tell about our Christmas tree....

Ms Claus' Hipper Youger Sister

Of course you know the Christmas story, and about Santa Claus and Ms Claus, and even their reindeer, but do you know Ms Claus has a younger sister. Well I got to meet her. Oh, yes, she was really hip, and was telling stories about growing up with Ms Claus. She calls herself "Ms Claus-I-can", even had a shake to go with it. Ms Claus wasn't able to make it, she was tied up with something, later we discovered and rescued Ms Claus because her sister had really tied her up.


I rode there with Norah and Rhiannon, look how sweet we look before the party, what were our moms thinking.

Oh yeah, she showed you how to walk with your hands on your hips going into the party room. I think Sadie was getting the hang of it (she's the last one going in the room).

It the room Ms. Claus-I-Can was telling us about how Ms Claus was no fun growing up, she was always making gifts and giving presents away at Christmas. Ms Claus-I-can wanted to marry Santa first, because he like to give presents, and she liked to get them. Sadie had lots to Ms Claus-I-can, she loved her pants, and had a story about dog and poop to share with her. Yes, you never know what will come out of a 4 year olds mouth.

After the rescue, Ms Claus and the girls teaching Ms Claus-I-can manners, you're never to old to learn. One of the manners was to eat your cookie by biting it, not just licking off the icing, I don't think Sadie was thinking that was bad manners, that's her favorite way to eat icing. Ms. Claus is sitting at Sadie's table with Norah, Rhiannon and Maisie.

I have to agree I even had a hard time taking photos, those big boobs kept getting in the way.

The girls after the program was over....next we went to eat for pizza (or at least us moms did)
