Air Show

Sadie watching "Fat Albert" on daddy's shoulders. On Mondays at preschool they get to share a story with the class. Sadie's story was that she went to the air show and saw the big airplane "Fat Brian Albert". I thought it was funny that she added in Brian's first name.

Fat Albert in the air, it's the big plane with the blue angels.

exhaust from some crazy acrobatic flying (plus a thumbprint)... very cool.

the Canadian Snowbirds

The Canadian Snowbirds, they were very cool.

Me and Sadie in front of a commercial airplane we toured.

The Blue Angels (4 planes in the picture)

The Blue Angels

While waiting for the Blue Angels to start, the lines to tour the planes were finally short so Sadie and I toured one close to where we were standing, the "Hurricane Hunter". Sadie and I stopped at the computer section and talked to the lady at the computer station. She was the meterologist (Sadie learned a new word) that studies the computer data to determine the strength of the storms. She had flown in Katrinia. I told my friend at work about her and that I was pointing out the other women pilots. Jill informed me that I was promoting our kid to get a job that would fly an airplane into hurricanes....yeah, I didn't think that one through.
